Our representative will meet and warmly welcome you to Sri Lanka upon your arrival to Bandaranayake International Airport, Katunayake. You will be escorted to your luxury private vehicle; in which you are going to witness an exciting “ENCHANTER” tour of this wonderful island. On your way to Dambulla, you will visit a marvelous UNESCO world heritage site namely,“Sigiriya Rock Fortress” believed to be dated back to 4,000 years where the conqueror Ravana used it as his base however some 1,600 years ago King Kashyapa built a capital in the summit as a maximum secure city. Later you visit another UNESCO world heritage site, “Dambulla Cave Temple” which dates back to the 1st Century. It’s known to be the largest collection of Buddha statues drawings at one place and sacred pilgrimage site for 22 centuries. After the early morning safari at Minneriya National Park enroute renowned UNESCO world heritage Kandy city, the last kingdom of Sinhala kings via visiting a typical Spice Garden full of spices and herbs. Just before checking into the hotel you will see the Temple of the Sacred Tooth, the most prominent Buddhist temple in Sri Lanka which houses the left canine tooth relic of Goutham Buddha. At night, an exclusive experience is hosted in the privacy of your hotel, “Dambulla Cave Temple” which dates back to the 1st Century. It’s known to be the largest collection of Buddha statues in the Traditional Kandyan Dance which lies in an exorcism ritual known as “Kohomba Kankariya”.
