Our representative will meet and warmly welcome you to Sri Lanka upon your arrival to Bandaranayake International Airport, Katunayake. You will be escorted to your luxury private vehicle in which you are going to witness exciting “ISLAND ESSENCCE” tour in this wonderful island. On your way to Habarana, you will visit a world heritage site; Golden Rock Cave Temple which dated back to 1st Century. It is known to be the largest collection of Buddha statues drawings at one place and sacred pilgrimage site for 22 centuries. After breakfast and checkout, you will enroute renowned UNESCO world heritage Kandy city, the last kingdom of Sinhala kings via visiting the Spice Garden full of spices and herbs. As you enter Kandy city, you will tour the Gem Museum where you can gain A-Z knowledge on how Sri Lanka originated, engulfing the rare and wonderful minerals and gemstones in the world. Just before checking into the hotel, you will see the Temple of the Sacred Tooth, the most prominent Buddhist temple in Sri Lanka which houses the left canine tooth relic of Goutham Buddha. At night, an exclusive experience is hosted in the privacy of your hotel, Traditional Kandyan Dance which lies in an exorcism ritual known as “Kohomba Kankariya”. After breakfast and checkout, misty city in the hills of Sri Lanka; Ella awaits to welcome you on the 4th day. On the way to Ella, you will visit a Tea Factory in Nuwara Eliya and after that you will be dropped to “Nanuoya Railway Station” where you will experience one of the most Scenic Train Rides in the world when you get on the Colombo-Badulla “Udarata Manike” train to reach Ella. After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Yala. After breakfast check out from the hotel and reach the coastal ancient port city of Galle. You will roam in the Galle Fort, built by Portuguese back in 1,588 and fortified by the Dutch in 1,649 making it one of the most important archeological, architectural and historic monuments to illustrate the European influence in South East Asia in the 17th century.
